Naked & Famous

Made these for a New Years Eve party I held, and they came out great! A nice way to use up some Aperol if you've got some mezcal and Chartreuse around. Goes down smooth, but it packs a punch!

Tools/Glassware Needed

• A coupe glass
• A hand juicer
• A knife
• A shaker

Ingredients:

• 3/4 fl oz. of mezcal. I use Del Maguey Vida, but any less-smoky variant would work well I bet.
• 3/4 fl oz. of Aperol (or other bitter orange aperitivo)
• 3/4 fl oz. of Green Chartreuse (The original recipe calls for Yellow Chartreuse, but I don't have that, and Green worked well for me)
• 1 Small Lime
• Shaking ice cubes

Instructions

1. Slice your Lime in half and juice it into your shaker

2. Add the assorted spirits to the shaker.

3. Add ice to your shaker.

4. Shake it up till cold.

5. Strain and pour into a coupe glass.

6. Enjoy responsibly!

Tweaks

Since Chartreuse is pretty hard to find, I've heard there are some other alternatives out there you could try. I haven't tried them, but they'd probably do in a pinch.
